- 2 c. whole or cream corn
- 2/3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, separated
- 2 tsp. milk
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
Directions

1Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

2Beat egg whites in small bowl until peaks form.

3Beat egg yolks and milk.

4Stir in butter and corn.

5Fold in flour mixture and egg whites until no streaks of white remain.

6Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls of batter.

7Cook in 1/2-inch of oil in deep skillet until edges are brown and crisp.

8Turn only once.

9Drain on towels.
