  • 1 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. whole kernel corn (use a whole can)
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • approximately 1/2 c. sugar

Directions

    Put dry ingredients together.

    Blend milk and egg.

    Add gradually to dry ingredients.

    Stir in corn.

    Drop by tablespoons (or like pancakes from cup) into hot fat.

    Fry 2 to 5 minutes until brown. Drain on paper.
