  • 3 cans cream-style corn
  • 2 cans chopped green chilies
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. grits
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Place all ingredients (except cheese) into a casserole dish and mix together. Add most of cheese and mix into the casserole. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes. To test, insert knife into middle; it should be clean when removed. Serves 12+. Can do ahead.
