- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening, melted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Combine all ingredients, mix well.

2Spoon into a well-greased l0-inch tube pan; let stand 10 minutes.

3Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done.

4Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan.
