  • 1 c. Gold Medal flour*
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. shortening

    Heat oven to 425°.

    Grease bottoms of 12 medium muffin cups. Blend all ingredients about 20 seconds.

    Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.

    Bake 15 minutes; immediately remove from pan.
