- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable (canola) oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Remove the husks from the corn and cut the kernels off the cobs with a sharp knife.

2You should get 5 to 6 cups of kernels.

3Place in a saucepan with the water, oil, butter and salt.

4Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring.

5Cover and continue to boil over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.

6Serve as soon as possible.
