Corn-Onion Casserole

  • 3 eggs, seperated
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (14 ounce) can cream-style corn
  • 1 (2 7/8 ounce) can French fried onion rings, divded

    Beat eggs yolks until think and lemon colored.

    Add next 4 ingredients and blend well.

    Stir in 1 cup French fried onions.

    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Pour mixture into a 1-1/2 quart ungreased casserole dish.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until firm.

    Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer.
