- 2 c. frozen corn kernels
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Directions

1In a colander, rinse frozen corn just until ice crystals disappear.

2Place corn in a bowl.

3Add milk, flour, egg, salt and pepper.

4Stir to mix.

5Cover with paper towel and set aside.

6In skillet over medium heat, warm butter and oil.

7After butter melts completely, carefully put 6 rounded spoonfuls of corn mixture into skillet.

8Cook corn oysters for 2 or 3 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown.

9Turn them gently and cook 2 or 3 minutes more or until both sides are golden brown.
