  • corn oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • oleo (for top)

Directions

    Lightly grease a 7-inch baking dish with oil.

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Beat the eggs and evaporated milk together.

    Stir sugar and cornstarch together in a small bowl.

    Slowly add to egg mixture. Beat until blended.

    Fold in corn, salt and pepper.

    Put in pan and dot with oleo.

    Bake until pudding is set and golden brown, about 1 hour.
