  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 1/2 c. milk (hot)
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Beat egg yolks, cornstarch, sugar and salt.

    Add corn, milk and butter.

    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Pour into a 1 1/2-quart buttered casserole.

    Set dish in a pan of hot water. Bake approximately 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
