- 2 (10-inch) deep dish pie shells (fresh or frozen)
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. grated Jack or Swiss cheese
- 2 c. chopped ham or bacon
- 4 eggs
- 1 (8.5 oz.) can creamed corn
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Take 1 egg white and brush over pie shell.

2Preheat oven to 375°.

3Saute onion in butter until golden.

4Sprinkle pie shell with cheese, then ham, then onion.

5Beat egg slightly and add remaining ingredients.

6Beat until well combined.

7Pour over cheese mixture.

8Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until golden.
