  • 12 ears corn
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped
  • 2 large green peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. salt

Directions

    Cut corn from cob and mix with red and green peppers, cabbage and onions.

    Heat 2 cups vinegar to boiling.

    Add sugar, salt, mustard, flour and turmeric.

    Add rest of vinegar.

    Boil until slightly thick.

    Add vegetables.

    Stir until well blended.

    Cook slowly for 1/2 hour.
