- 18 medium ears of corn
- 4 large onions
- 1 large head cabbage
- 3 green or red peppers
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1 3/4 lb. sugar
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. ground mustard
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
Directions

1Cut corn from cob.

2Chop cabbage, onions and peppers. Cook 15 minutes using very little water. Add corn, sugar, salt, celery seed and vinegar.

3Mustard moistened with vinegar should be added last.

4Cook until corn is tender, about 30 minutes.

5While hot, pack into jars and seal.
