Ingredients

  • 3 large onions, sliced
  • 4 or 5 cans corn, drained
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • dash of pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 small jar pimento, chopped (3 Tbsp.)
  • 1 1/2 c. Velveeta cheese

    Layer sliced onions and corn in greased 9 x 13-inch casserole. Cover with foil and bake at 400°

    for 1 hour.

    Saute 1/2 to 1 cup chopped onion.

    Make a white sauce with butter, flour and milk. Add sauteed onion, pimento, salt, pepper and cheese until melted. Pour over corn.

    Bake in oven about 10 minutes until bubbly.
