  • 1 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil or shortening, melted

Directions

    Stir flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add eggs, milk and oil. Beat until smooth. Put in greased pan. Bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.
