  • 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk

    Mix all together.

    Stir to get the lumps out. Put some oil in a heavy cast-iron skillet.

    Heat and sprinkle some flour in the pan.

    Add the cornbread mixture.

    Bake in 500° oven for 15 minutes.
