Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients

  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 3 Tbsp. sage
  • 2/3 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 1/2 qt. hot chicken broth
  • 1 qt. and 1 c. corn bread
  • 1 qt. loaf bread (don't use brown edges)
  • 3 eggs, well beaten

    Mix all dry ingredients together.

    Put aside.

    Mix broth and soup.

    Bring to a boil.

    Pour over dry ingredients.

    Add eggs last.

    Mix well with a potato masher.

    Add finely chopped onions. Microwave at Medium-high for 13 to 15 minutes.
