  • 3 cans biscuits, baked to pkg. instructions
  • 6 pkg. prepared cornbread mix - divided to bake in 2 oblong pans to pkg. instructions
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 bunch celery, chopped
  • 6 cans chicken broth
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 jar or box of sage (6.5 oz. container)
  • chopped pecans, optional

Directions

    Crumble biscuits and cornbread into a 20 lb. roaster pan. Add all other ingredients, mix well and bake in 350° until celery and onions are cooked and tastes done in the middle of the pan, or about 2 hours.
