- 6 c. cornbread, crumbled
- 4 c. loaf bread or biscuits, crumbled
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. broth or milk
- 3 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Prepare bread for dressing.

2Cook onion and celery in butter until tender.

3Add to the bread crumbs and seasonings.

4Stir in beaten eggs and enough broth or milk to make a moist dressing. Pan dressing should be very moist.

5Just before pouring mixture in pan, stir in 3 teaspoons baking powder for added fluffiness.
