  • 1 (6 lb.) corned beef
  • 3 tsp. pickle spice
  • 1 large onion, cut up
  • 1 lb. carrots, cut in half
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. whole cloves
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • water
  • garlic

Directions

    Place corned beef in roasting pan or large pot.

    Cover with water.

    Add all ingredients; cover and boil or bake in oven until tender.

    Remove from liquid and cool.
