- 1 (6 lb.) corned beef
- 3 tsp. pickle spice
- 1 large onion, cut up
- 1 lb. carrots, cut in half
- 4 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- water
- garlic
Directions

1Place corned beef in roasting pan or large pot.

2Cover with water.

3Add all ingredients; cover and boil or bake in oven until tender.

4Remove from liquid and cool.

5Serve with cabbage and potatoes.
