- 2 egg whites
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. crisp cornflakes
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Beat egg whites and salt until just stiff enough to hold moist peaks, then add sugar gradually, about 1 heaping tablespoon at a time.

2Continue to beat after each addition, until whites are very stiff.

3Mix in nuts, using a fork; then fold in the cornflakes. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased unglazed brown paper on a cookie sheet.

4Bake in a slow oven at 300° for 30 minutes.

5Remove from paper to cake racks immediately.

6Makes about 3 dozen kisses.
