- 4 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. shredded coconut
- 3 c. cornflakes
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, beat egg whites until foamy.

2Stir in cream of tartar and vanilla.

3Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff and glossy.

4Fold in nuts, coconut and cornflakes.

5Drop by rounded measuring tablespoons onto well greased baking sheets. Bake in 325° oven for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 3 dozen.
