  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. cornflakes, crushed to 1 c.
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

  1. 1
    Beat room temperature oleo until very light. Add sugar and beat. Add vanilla, flour, soda and cream of tartar, then cornflakes and pecans. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet; flatten with a fork to 2-inches in diameter. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes. Makes 60.
