Cornish Hens & Rice Pilaf

Ingredients
- 1 Cornish Hen halved or 1 whole Hen per person
- 1/2 c. Margarine
- 1 large Onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. dried Thyme
- 1-1/2 c. raw Regular White Rice
- 3 tsp. instant Chicken Bouillon
- 3 c. Hot Water
Directions

1Clean and prepare the quantity of Cornish Hens that are appropriate for the people being served.

2Place in a 350 - 375 oven for 1 hour.

3I put a bit of margarine on the outside of the hen and sometimes sprinkle it with Garlic Salt.

4In a skillet, place 1/4 c. of Margarine, cook Onion until golden.

5Put into a 2 quart casserole dish with a cover and set aside.

6In same skillet, heat remaining margarine, brown the Rice so that it is fluffy and golden brown.

7Add to the casserole dish.

8Add remaining ingredients. Bake for 350 - 375 for 30 - 40 minutes.
