- 1 c. plain cornmeal
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. milk
- broth from ham hock (or your choice of broth)
- 1/4 c. plain flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. bacon fat
Directions

1Mix meal, flour, baking powder and eggs.

2Add milk, stirring until well blended.

3Add melted bacon fat.

4Drop by teaspoons into boiling broth.

5Cover tightly and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
