- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 c. grated cheese
- 1/4 c. soft butter
- 4 c. water
Directions

1Add cornmeal gradually to boiling, salted water, stirring constantly.

2Cook 20 minutes.

3Turn into a buttered 8-inch square pan and chill until firm.

4Cut into strips 1 x 2-inches.

5Split each strip in half.

6Spread with butter and sprinkle again with cheese.

7Place on a buttered sheet and bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until brown.
