  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 tablespoons honey
  • 12 ounces beer
  • butter

Directions

    In a bowl put the dry ingredients, add honey and pour in the beer, stirring only until flour is moistened.

    Pour inot a greased loaf pan and bake at 300 degrees for 35 minutes.

    As soon as removed from the oven, rub top and sides with butter.
