  • 9 slices of bread, cubed
  • 2 1/2 lb. sausage, cooked and drained
  • 10 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 eggs
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Place 1/2 of the bread cubes in bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan. Put 1/2 of the sausage on top, then 1/2 of the cheese.

    Repeat layers.

    Beat eggs, milk, mustard, salt, and pepper.

    Pour mixture over layers in pan.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    Remove cover and bake in 350° oven for 1 hour.
