- 1 2/3 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar (add more sugar if you like a sweeter taste)
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. half and half
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 2 eggs, well beaten
Directions

1Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl; mix well.

2Combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Add wet mix to dry mix and stir until moistened.

3Pour into a well-greased 9-inch square pan.

4Bake at 425° for 35 minutes or until tester comes clean.
