Country Cornbread Stuffing

- 2 c. celery slices
- 1/4 c. margarine, melted
- 1 (8 or 9-inch) pan cornbread, crumbled
- 6 c. bread cubes
- 1 (1 lb.) pkg. pork sausage, cooked and drained
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) condensed chicken broth
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. chopped onion
Directions

1In a small skillet, saute celery and onion until tender. Combine celery mixture, cornbread, bread cubes, sausage and sage. Mix well.

2Add broth, water and eggs.

3Toss until moist.

4Add more water if more moist dressing is desired.

5Makes enough stuffing for a 12 to 16 pound turkey.

6Bake remaining stuffing 35 to 40 minutes in a 350° oven.
