- 1 c. cornmeal (plain)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients.

2Blend eggs, milk, butter and honey. Add to dry ingredients, stirring until moistened.

3Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.

4Bake in a 400° oven for 30 minutes, or until done and brown.
