  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. franks, cut on the diagonal in 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 2 large green peppers, cut in bite size pieces
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 can chile sauce or tomato sauce

    In a 12-inch skillet over medium heat, cook frank slices until lightly browned, stirring occasionally.

    Remove to bowl.

    In same skillet over medium heat in hot salad oil cook peppers and onions, oregano, salt and pepper until tender, stirring frequently.

    Add franks and tomato sauce.

    Toss gently together; heat through.
