- 1 doz. (frying size) okra pods
- 2 large potatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. meal
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Chop okra and onion; slice potatoes and mix in bowl.

2Add flour, meal, salt and pepper; stir until all vegetables are well coated.

3Brown in hot oil until tender (about 20 minutes).

4Reduce heat; add margarine to top of vegetables.

5Cover and continue to cook approximately 10 more minutes.
