- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 4 medium potatoes, cubed
- 2 c. water
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
- 1 (15 oz.) can Ranch Style beans (undrained)
- 1 (12 oz.) can kernel corn (undrained)
- 1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup (undiluted)
- 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles
- 1 or 2 dried cayenne peppers
Directions

1Cut beef in 1/2-inch dice; combine with onion, salt and pepper and brown over medium heat in large Dutch oven.

2Add potatoes and water to meat and cook until potatoes are tender.

3Add remaining ingredients; cover and simmer for 60 to 80 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4I add one or two dried cayenne peppers for interest.
