- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1 can crabmeat
- 1 loaf cocktail rye
Directions

1Allow butter or margarine and cheese to come to room temperature.

2Blend cheese and butter together with a mixer.

3With the tines of a fork, shred the crabmeat and chop finely.

4Add the chopped onion and the shredded crabmeat and blend.

5Spread on the cocktail rye and broil in the broiler until the top is lightly browned.
