  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine
  • 1 can crabmeat
  • 1 loaf cocktail rye

Directions

    Allow butter or margarine and cheese to come to room temperature.

    Blend cheese and butter together with a mixer.
  3. 3
    With the tines of a fork, shred the crabmeat and chop finely.

    Add the chopped onion and the shredded crabmeat and blend.
  5. 5
    Spread on the cocktail rye and broil in the broiler until the top is lightly browned.

    Makes approximately 30.
