- 2 c. chopped mushrooms
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (7 1/4 oz.) can crab meat
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 c. chicken stock
- 2 c. light cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1/4 c. white wine
Directions

1In a 3-quart saucepan, saute mushrooms, onions and garlic in butter for 5 minutes.

2Blend in flour and add stock, stirring until smooth while over medium heat 10 minutes.

3Flake crab meat and remove cartilage.

4Add crab meat and remaining ingredients and bring to a light boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.

5Serve hot with crackers.
