Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh or canned crab meat
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 oz. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- pepper to taste
- cracker meal or fine bread crumbs
Directions

1Saute green pepper and onion in butter.

2Add mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

3Blend in flour, using wooden spoon or wire whisk.

4Add crab meat.

5Chill thoroughly. Form into cakes, 1-inch thick.

6Dip cakes in cracker meal, then in beaten eggs, then in bread crumbs.

7Fry in deep fat until nicely browned.

8Drain on absorbent paper.
