- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Break crabmeat up finely. Toss with next 6 ingredients.

2Stir in sauce which is made as follows:

3Melt butter. Stir in flour and seasonings. Add milk and stir constantly until mixture forms a ball. Add to crabmeat combination. Chill in refrigerator several hours or overnight. Shape into cakes.

4Roll in bread crumbs and fry in melted shortening.
