  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 lb. fresh crabmeat, picked over for bones and cartilege
  • 1 1/2 tsp. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. horseradish
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of ground pepper
  • 1/3 c. slivered almonds, toasted

Directions

    Soften the cream cheese.

    Mix in the milk until creamy.

    Add the remaining ingredients, except almonds.

    Refrigerate for one day.

    Put mixture into small casserole.

    Sprinkle with the slivered almonds.

    Bake in 375° oven for 15 minutes.

    Serve while warm with unsalted crackers.
