Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crab meat or imitation crab
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. onion, minced
  • 1 tsp. horseradish
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. dry white wine
  • 6 French rolls
  • 1/2 c. sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 c. grated Gruyere cheese

Directions

    Mix together first nine ingredients.

    Remove top third of roll and hollow out inside.

    Spoon crab mixture into each roll. Sprinkle with almonds and cheese.

    Bake at 325° for 20 minutes. Place tops on rolls and bake another 5 to 10 minutes.
