Ingredients

  • 1 cup mushrooms chopped
  • 2 each scallions, spring or green onions chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 pound crab meat

Directions

    Cook mushrooms and onions in butter until tender.

    Blend in flour and thyme.

    Stir in cream or milk and stir constantly until thick and bubbly.

    Remove.

    Add wine.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Stir in crab meat.

    Spoon into crab shells or ramekins.

    Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

    Bake at 375F (190C) for 15 minutes until top is slightly browned.
