- 1 lb. crabmeat (fresh or imitation)
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 stalks celery, diced
- 4 oz. butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp. thyme leaf
- 1 Tbsp. chopped basil
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
- 8 oz. fresh bread crumbs
Directions

1Pick through crabmeat to remove shells.

2In a small saucepan add butter, onion, celery, thyme, crabmeat, wine, lemon juice, basil and bay leaves.

3Heat on low for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4When veggies are tender, place in food processor. Remove bay leaves and discard.

5Puree for 60 seconds, add in bread crumbs, mix puree well and add fresh parsley.

6If the mixture is still wet, add more breadcrumbs.
