- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 20 soda crackers, rolled fine
- 1 c. nuts
Directions

1Beat egg whites until foamy and add cream of tartar.

2Beat until stiff.

3Add sugar gradually and then add vanilla.

4Mix crackers and nuts together.

5Fold all together and pour into 9-inch pie pan.

6Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes.

7Cool.

8Cover with 1 cup cream whipped to which 1 small can crushed pineapple had been added.

9Sprinkle generously with coconut.
