  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 6 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Combine sugar, syrup, margarine and cream of tartar.

    Bring to a hard boil.

    Boil 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat; stir in soda. Pour over corn.

    Place in large roaster; bake at 250° for 1 hour. Stir occasionally.
