- 8 or 9 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Boil all ingredients, except for corn and soda, for 5 minutes. Mix well and stir occasionally.

2Remove from heat; add soda, stirring in quickly.

3Pour over popped corn, mixing well.

4Put in 2 flat pans and place in a 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring 2 or 3 times.

5Remove and completely cool.

6Store in tightly closed container.

7Peanuts may be added.
