- 8 to 9 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Boil sugar, butter, syrup, salt and vanilla for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add soda and pour over popped corn in a large roasting pan, coating well.

2Cook in oven at 250° for 1 hour. Stir every 20 minutes.

3Store in airtight containers.

4Add peanuts to popcorn if desired.
