- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- juice of 1 orange
- boiling water
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. fresh cranberries
Directions

1Sift the first 4 ingredients together.

2Combine the melted butter and orange juice then add boiling water to make 3/4 cup. Mix liquid with dry ingredients.

3Add beaten egg; mix well.

4Add nuts and cranberries.

5Pour into greased loaf pan.

6Bake 1 hour at 325°.

7One bag of cranberries makes 3 loaves.
