- 1 package cake mix yellow
- 2 large eggs
- 23 cup cranberry juice
- 1 x orange zest small
- 3 tablespoons sweet relish cranberry-orange
- 1/4 cup nuts finely chopped
- 1 x food coloring red
Directions

1Combine cake mix, eggs, cranberry juice and orange rind; beat until smooth, following beating directions on package.

2Remove 13 of batter and add relish and nuts.

3Add enough food coloring to make batter a deep red.

4Spoon light and dark batters alternately into greased and floured 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

5Bake in moderate oven 350F (180C).

6for 65 to 70 minutes, or until cake tests done.

7Let stand in pan 5 minutes, then turn out on rack and let stand until cool.

8To decoreate, frost top and sides of cake with your favorite frosting.

9Makes one 9x5x3 inch loaf.
