Cranberry Casserole

  • 2 cups Fresh Whole Cranberries
  • 3 cups Tart Apple, Peeled And Chopped
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 cups Butter, Melted
  • 1/2 cups Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1-1/2 cup Quick Oats
  • 1/4 cups Chopped Walnuts

Directions

    Heat oven to 325 degrees. Prepare 9x13 casserole pan with cooking spray.

    Mix together cranberries, apples, granulated sugar and lemon juice. I do this step right in the pan. Stir well.

    Mix together butter, brown sugar, oats and walnuts. Sprinkle over the cranberry mixture.

    Bake for 60-70 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

    I usually make two 8x8 pans of this dish so I have one to take to each of our Thanksgiving dinners. It is very sweet, so it could even be classified as a dessert!
