- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2In a bowl, cream together sugar and butter.

3Add eggs, one at a time, and beat after each addition. In a bowl, sift together flour, baking power and salt.

4Add with milk to the sugar and butter mixture.

5Stir by hand to moisten all ingredients completely.

6Stir in chopped cranberries.

7Spoon into 18 (2 1/2-inch) muffin cups, filling 3/4 full.

8Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
